Learn to Wing Foil!!!
It goes by many names, Wing Foiling, Wing Surfing, Wingdinging, You have seen it and you want to give it a go!!
Wing foiling is a new sport that combines foiling, windsurfing and kitesurfing technology. The boards are big and floaty, the wing is light and easy to use and the foils are stable and intuitive.
Lessons start off on the beach with an introduction to the equipment and how to set it up, with the main focus being the wing and how to handle it.
Then into the water with a big floaty wing board to be able to learn the coordination of the wing and standing up on the water.
Self rescue techniques and specific safety are key elements and are taught early to ensure confidence in students.
Once the basics are mastered then its time to introduce the foil and combine all the skills to get you up and flying.
With over 20 years combined teaching of Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, Sailing, Foiling and being accredited Kitesurfing Australia Wing Foiling Instructors, our instructors will have you up in no time.
Lesson Includes:
- 2 hours of instruction with a qualified and experienced Kitesurfing Australia Wing Foiling Instructor
- Use of school's personal safety equipment - Life jacket, wetsuit, and helmet
- Use of school's wing foiling equipment - wing, pump, board and foil.
Lesson Location, Depending on wind direction and strength:
Fully Insured, accredited and with council approval to operate in the safe and sheltered teaching area at West Lakes.
