It goes by many names, Wing Foiling, Wing Surfing, Wingdinging, You have seen it and you want to give it a go!!
Wing foiling is a new sport that combines foiling, windsurfing and kitesurfing technology. The boards are big and floaty, the wing is light and easy to use and the foils are stable and intuitive.
This introductory lesson start with an introduction to the equipment and how to set it up, including the board foil and wing. The main focus being the wing and how to handle it and use it to get going in the water.
Self rescue techniques and specific safety are key elements and are taught to ensure confidence in students for when they hit the water.
Once the basics are mastered then it is time to book your next lesson and get out there in the water and put it all into practice.
With over 20 years combined teaching of Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, Sailing, Foiling and being accredited Kitesurfing Australia Wing Foiling Instructors, our instructors will have feeling confident in no time.
Lesson Includes:
- 1.5 hours of instruction with a qualified and experienced Kitesurfing Australia Wing Foiling Instructor.
- Use of school's wing foiling equipment - wing, pump, board and foil.
Lesson Location, Depending on wind direction and strength:
Fully Insured, accredited and with council approval to operate in the safe and sheltered teaching area at West Lakes.
