Junior Learn to Kitesurf Course January 2022

Overview:

At Ride Kitesurfing, we’re passionate about getting juniors into the sport. This is a course consistion of 6 lesson (2.5 hours) specifically designed for kids aged 12 to 18 years old. With a heavy focus on the kite and general water safety our aim is to ensure our students become independent kiters in the best way possible. 

Course Dates:

Monday 24th January - Saturday 29th January 2022: 12:30pm - 3:00pm daily

Course Includes:

• 15 Hours of group instruction with a qualified and experienced Kiteboarding Australia Instructor
• Use of school's personal safety equipment - Life Jacket, wetsuit, harness and a helmet
• Use of school's kitesurfing equipment - Inflatable leading edge kite, board, control bar with lines and a kite pump

Course Location:

• Largs Bay Sailing Club - 1 The Foreshore Largs Bay SA 5016 (just north of the jetty)

Course Aim: 

To get students to be able to feel confident and independent in the water with a kite, to be familiar with all the safety systems and be able to self rescue and self land.

There will be a mix of theory and practical throughout the course. Sessions will be tailored to the abilities of the students and the weather with the aim to get as much water time as possible.
